Child Tax Credits

Currently claiming child tax credits with a household income below £16,010 per year you may be entitled to a grant to replace your inefficient and old boiler. You can be the homeowner or tenant as longs as your boiler is 5+ years old you may qualify.

Working Tax Credits

Useful Information

Free Heating Grants are open to homeowners or tenants (but not those in local authority/housing association homes). You, or someone who is registered as living at your address, need to currently be receiving at least one of the qualifying benefits.

We can help you get a new fully functioning central heating system including a new boiler, pipes, thermostat, radiators, and heating control panels, and could even potentially assist with insulation.

Free Heating Grants are funded from the Government’s ECO3 Scheme which aims to help households that might struggle to heat their homes, as well as assisting in reducing overall carbon emissions. If eligible, in most cases you will have a new central heating system installed for free and will not normally be expected to make a contribution to the costs. It would not normally cover additional costs such as if a gas main had to be connected to your home, but funding for this is sometimes available from some local authorities.

Although the ECO Scheme doesn’t cover the cost of running a gas supply to your home, some local councils may be able to contribute towards the cost. Where this is not possible, you may still be able to benefit from the scheme, with a free upgrade to your current heating system.
